WATCH THE TRAILER
Eric Lindsey made a name for himself in Chicago as a stone carver in a world without stone carvers. Relishing the challenge, Eric created monumental sculptures out of materials few others would touch, sending thousands of pounds of hand-carved granite, concrete, and marble soaring into the air.
Each piece was carved while he worked 70 hours a week managing a factory and raising his family, using whatever materials he could salvage from dumpsters and his surroundings.
Just as his art was gaining momentum, a tragic fall shattered every bone in his body and left him hospitalized for months. He spent years regaining the strength needed to work his beloved materials, and now, he is battling again to continue his art.
